Spring Events in the Lake Country

There are many fun events coming up this spring in the Lake Country! If you are new to the area,  moving here, or looking for ways to get involved and meet people these events are a great place to start. The 9th Annual Food & Wine Festival kicks off the Spring at Lake Oconee on March 23rd-25th. The Eatonton Cotton Warehouse will be hosting the first Lake Country Craft Beer Festival this Spring. With over 100 craft beers for tasting from about 30 breweries, live music, and food it is sure to be a grand time!  This event will be on April 14th and you can find tickets and more information at http://lakecountrybeerfest.com/

Oconee Brewing Company

The OBC opened this year in downtown Greensboro. It has been the talk of the town and the place to be since it's opening. It is a welcomed addition to the local landscape in fun and economic impact. Offering more than brew tours and tasting, the OBC host a myriad of events from ballroom dancing, yoga, painting classes, movie nights, Gameday viewing, to the raved about dueling pianos concerts. This eclectic spot is family run and pet friendly, offering a variety of games to play with tasting fresh brews and enjoying food trucks or catering. The building itself is a beautiful spectacle with industrial white washed brick and trendy modern lighting, which makes for a picture worthy atmosphere.
